Why a Cobberdog
"Doodle" describes a cross. "Australian Cobberdog" describes a breed with a written standard, a registry, and a purpose — assistance and therapy work.
A labradoodle is a cross — two breeds put together, every litter a fresh roll of the dice. The Cobberdog is a breed in its own right, with a written standard and its own registry. Each puppy leaves with an MDBA pedigree tracing to the founding lines in Australia.
Every dog in the lineage was selected for calm, low reactivity and a strong read on human emotion. It's the founding purpose of the breed, not a lucky outcome.
Single fleece coat, no undercoat, no seasonal blow-out and no dog smell. Lower dander and lower saliva protein — the two things that actually trigger reactions.

Before you ask
Our Australian Cobberdog puppies are $3,500–$4,500 depending on size, coat and generation. That includes their first vet exam, age-appropriate vaccinations, a microchip, their MDBA pedigree and a puppy pack. We'll send exact pricing for the litter you're matched to.
Joining is free. When a litter is confirmed, families on the list are contacted in order with photos and a deposit window. A $500 deposit holds your place and is applied to the purchase price.
Both parents are DNA tested, and their hips, elbows and eyes are examined. Those results are shared with you before a deposit is ever discussed. The puppies themselves are not DNA tested — they go home with their first veterinary exam, age-appropriate vaccinations and a microchip.
Yes. It is a recognised breed in development, and every puppy leaves with an MDBA pedigree tracing back to Australia. Because the breed was developed from several foundation breeds, you will see those breeds named on the pedigree — that is how a developing breed's paperwork is meant to read, not a sign of a mixed litter.
Yes. A flight nanny carries your puppy in-cabin to your nearest major airport. Cost runs $500–$1,200 depending on airfare, availability, how far we're travelling and whether the trip needs an overnight stay. Local families are welcome to collect in person.
No dog is truly hypoallergenic, but the Cobberdog fleece coat is single-layered with very low dander, and the breed carries lower saliva protein levels. If allergies are the reason you are considering this breed, say so when Laban calls — he will talk you through what other allergy families have found.
